Two dresses worn by Princess Diana are expected to sell for $60,000 each
when they go up for sale at an auction in Los Angeles. The two Diana
dresses offered for sale, each with an estimate of $40,000-$60,000, were
both designed by Catherine Walker but were worn for very different
purposes.
The first was created for a 1992 state visit to India with the intricate
embroidered detail on the top half of the black gown getting its
inspiration from Indian art.
